The SEA and Partners have come together once again in their latest report, Policy Barriers and Solutions for a Technology-Agnostic Approach to Heat and Buildings, to inform the journey to Net-Zero UK buildings.
Evolving on the first report, this publication acts as a check list for reform to the Government’s policies on heat and buildings. First, discussing what barriers are preventing UK policy from delivering the most appropriate technologies for the most effective transition. And then laying out the solutions and subsequent recommendations for government policy. Covering consumer advice and communications to skills and education, energy performance certificates and more, a technology-agnostic approach will deliver the most prosperous transition to Net Zero, and create the best outcomes for people, building and the country as a whole.
